Sega Saturn Cheats - Nascar 98

Fat Car Mode
Go to the game options screen and highlight stereo. Hold Z and press B then X then Y and then simultaneously press A and B. You should hear "Go Buddy Go Go". Now start the race and press START+A+B+C. When the game reloads your cars will be twice as wide.
In-Car Modifications
While practicing, qualifying or racing, pause the game and go down to Race Stats. While it's highlighted, hold L-shift + R-shift + Y and press A or C. This will let you control more aspects of your vehicle.

Quick Reset
To reset the game, hold A+B+C and press START.

Wireframe Cars
Enter the the wireframe track code and start the race, then press START + A + B + C to restart the game. Now cars are wireframe too.

Wireframe Track
Go to the game options menu and highlight control setup. Hold Z and press A then B then X and then simultaneously press A and Y. You should hear "Go buddy go go". Start a race and it will be a clear track.

Tow truck:
Select exhibition mode. Highlight Bobby Labonte's or Kenny Wallace's car on the car selection screen, then hold C and press Up, Down to turn your vehicle into a tow truck. Additionally, hold A + B + C and press Start to reset the game. Return to the car selection screen to also turn the last car selected into a tow truck.

Hidden options:
Press Start to pause game play and highlight the "Race Statistics" option. The, hold L + R + X and press A. A hidden options menu that allows various game parameters to be changed will appear.

Wide cars:
Highlight the "Stereo" option. Hold Z and press B, X, Y, A + B. A voice will confirm correct code entry. Begin game play and press Start + A +B + C to reset. Wide versions of the cars will appear during the next race.

Wire frame track:
Highlight the "Control Setup" option. Hold Z and press A, B, X, A + Y. A voice will confirm correct code entry. Begin game play to race on a wire frame track.

Wire frame cars:
Enable the "Wire frame track" code. Press Start + A + B + C during game play. Wire frame versions of the cars will appear during the next race.

In-game reset:
Hold A + B + C and press Start during game play.

Hint: Car position and speed:
Cars will have different speeds depending on what position you are in.

Position 24 to 21: The cars will be very slow and very easy to pass.

Position 20 to 13: The cars will be quicker and harder to pass, but you will be able to tell which cars are very fast and are very slow.

Position 12 to 2: The cars will be competitive and will be at relatively the same speed.


Position 1: A select amount of cars will be very quick and then there will be a huge change in speed for the CPU cars (usually from position 9 to 14). This is most noticeable at Bristol.
