Gengar mega evolution
First, go to Laverre City. Start from the pokemon center then go left, then up, left, up, left. If you found it, you should see a team flare guy and a hex manic on the far left. Talk to her and you'll recive a gengarinite or a mega evolution stone for gengar. Next, trade a pokemon for a Haunter via link trade. (I am not sure, but I think online trading works too.) Then, the Hunter will evolve into Gengar. Then, give him the gengarinite and you can mega evolve him! Hope I Helped!

Battle Strategy
Find a pokemon that can learn perish song via leveling up (Such as Lapras) and another that can learn mean look via leveling up. Focus on strengthening their Speed, Special Defense, and Defense. Then, do a double battle with those two pokemon first. Have one use Perish Song and the other use Mean Look on both of the opponent's pokemon. Then, when the perish countdown hits 1, switch both pokemon with the other two you have. Your opponent's pokemon will faint, and you can then just use perish song. Hope I Helped!

Fishing and chain fishing tip
When fishing, in case you didn't catch it in the game, an area with all or most sides surrounded by things is THE BEST PLACE FOR CHAIN FISHING! I've found an awesome area by the tower of mastery. You'll need surf to get there though. 8B hope this helped ya!

- Send out a red Writ of Difficulty and keep altering the time by an hour to keep altering the trainers without needing to wait.
- Prior to midnight, set the time back for unlimited writ time.
- Get everyday items and day-to-day tasks by setting the clock to 23:59.

Lumoise City saving bug
When you save in Lumoise City, DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT, save on North boulevard or South boulevard(or in any of the buildings along it) or your progress since the last save(or possibly your whole game data) might be deleted. This is a slim chance and GameFreak is working on it, but just to be on the safe side, DON'T SAVE THERE. Hope I helped all you people, because my whole game was deleted and I had to start over, and I didn't want anyone else's 390-something hours to go down the drain.

Sure capture with any pokeball

Throw ANY pokeball at a pokemon, then press SELECT while it is shaking. It will be a sure capture. (note: this works about 95.5% of the time and im still working at another way to do it)
